“We took our 13 yr old dog "Gunner" to see Dr. G. He is diabetic and needed cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. G is a very confident and thorough guy. He did multiple tests on Gunner to make sure he was a good candidate for surgery. The staff is also very nice. We drove almost 3 hours to the Hiawatha location to have the surgery. Before the surgery Gunner had a blank stare on his face. He couldn’t see. It was very sad watching him try to get around. Playing ball was always his favorite thing to do but since his cataracts he couldn’t see the ball so he couldn’t play. He was very sad and his quality of life was not the same.
